The government has asked the High Court of Justice to dismiss the petitions filed against the firing of Shin Bet (Security Agency) chief Ronen Bar, following the government's decision to cancel the dismissal. 'The petitions have become theoretical - and the relief requested by the petitioners - cancellation of said decision - is no longer necessary,' stated the government's notice to the High Court. 'The petitions should be struck down - and the issued orders cancelled.'
