Amid disturbances and attacks on police officers, Jerusalem Municipality reported that during routine municipal enforcement activity, a city inspector was attacked by a vehicle owner who committed a parking violation and received a ticket. The inspector is now giving a statement at the police station. "The Jerusalem Municipality strongly condemns any violence toward public employees, emphasizes that it will not allow harm to its workers in the course of their duties and calls on the Israel Police to bring all those involved in the incident to justice with the full severity of the law," the statement said.
