Former combat pilot Eran Peleg, 75, from Kfar Saba, was killed in a light aircraft crash yesterday in the area of Kfar Qara in Wadi Ara. Another person, 33, was moderately injured. The two had taken off from Megiddo Airfield when a malfunction occurred that led to the crash. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by police investigative authorities and the Aviation Safety Investigation Authority.
