Foreign workers from China have landed in Israel and will return to construction sites for the first time since the outbreak of Operation Iron Swords. About 1,000 Chinese construction workers are expected to arrive soon, the first group of 4,000 workers, under agreements signed between Israel and the Chinese government. The first group passed professional tests in May 2023, but their entry was delayed due to Chinese authorities' decision following the outbreak of fighting. Now the arrival process has resumed and is expected to intensify in the coming weeks.
