Transportation Ministry launches new Metronit connecting West Bank to metro and light rail

The Transportation Ministry has launched the first Metronit in the West Bank - the Orange Line, a new 30-kilometer BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system that will connect the Rechalim terminal in the heart of Samaria to Petah Tikva. According to the Transportation Ministry, the line is expected to serve about 10,000 passengers daily and will connect to the light rail and metro in the Dan region. Additionally, the route will pass through several central hubs connected to the national network, including the Bruchin terminal, Kiryat Aryeh train station, the Red Line of the light rail, and the future M3 metro station.
