The IDF spokesperson has cleared for publication that in a special operation last night, the bodies of three fallen hostages were recovered from the Gaza Strip - Ofra Kedar, Yonatan Samerano and Staff Sergeant Shai Levinson. Kedar, 71, from Be'eri, was kidnapped and brutally murdered during a morning walk in the kibbutz. Samerano was murdered and abducted from Be'eri after escaping from the Nova party, and was 21 years old at the time of his death. Levinson, a tank commander from Battalion 77, fought terrorists on the morning of the massacre and fell in battle. His death was confirmed in January 2024, he was 19 when he fell. The notification was delivered to the families.
