During IDF troop operations in the Gaza Strip, three official letters from Hamas were found which indicate that Gazan teachers also serve in essential positions in the military arm of Hamas. The letters, written on official paper of the military wing of Hamas, were apparently delivered by hand to the head of the Directorate of Education and Teaching in Gaza. According to the letter, schools were required to allow the officials to free up their time for activities in Hamas. (Einav Halabi)
