Turkey, Syria reportedly reach deal to establish Turkish military bases

Turkey and Syria’s new government have reached preliminary understandings to allow Turkish military bases on Syrian territory, the Qatari newspaper The New Arab reported Friday, citing Turkish sources.
The reported agreement includes bases at the T4 airbase and another at the Menagh airfield.
