U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will visit Israel on Friday and meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu along with other members of the cabinet, a U.S. official aid.
"He is looking forward to speaking in depth with Israeli leaders about their operational planning and their objectives for this conflict," a senior U.S. official told reporters on the condition of anonymity.
