Three Palestinian college students were severely injured Saturday night in a shooting in Burlington, Vermont, according to police.
The three were on their way to a family dinner when a man, described by the police as "white," approached them with a handgun and fired at them at least four times without uttering a word. The students were speaking Arabic among themselves, and two of them were wearing keffiyehs. The local police have launched an investigation and stated that they did not rule out this was a hate crime. (Daniel Edelson)
