Israel bracing for wave of immigrants amid antisemitism

Immigration Minister Ofir Sofer said he believes the number of immigrants to Israel will grow substantially in the coming year, amid the rise of antisemitism around the world. "The situation now is an emergency. The reports I am receiving from heads of Jewish communities are troubling. Our goal is to support those communities and strengthen the ties with those who stand by Israel," Sofer said.
