Kochavi says Iran entrenchment in Syria failing

|
Outgoing Chief of Military Staff Aviv Kochavi said on Tuesday that Iran's plans of entrenchment in Syria have failed.
"Their plan included the deployment of hundreds of surface to air missiles and tens of thousands of militants and Hezbollah forces on the Golan Heights," Kochavi told a conference of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) at Tel Aviv University.
The military chief said the failure by Iran is a result of Israeli efforts which began in 2013 and continue at a pace of once a week, today.
