King Abdullah II, said on Tuesday that the Christian faith was under threat in Jerusalem and called for the status quo in the city to be kept.
"Any violation of the status quo in Jerusalem will cause international pressure and deepen the divide between religions," Abdullah said.
Speaking to the UN General Assembly in New York, the Jordanian king said only a 2-state solution can resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
