With an overwhelming majority the House of Representatives passed late on Tuesday, a resolution affirming Israel's right to exist. Only two members did not vote in favor of it, including Democratic Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, who said the resolution ignores the existence of the Palestinian people and does not do anything to promote coexistence. Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky who also opposed the resolution said he did not agree with its wording that equates anti-Zionism to antisemitism.
