Israel marks 26 years since Rabin Assassination

Israel will on Monday mark 26 years since the assassination of the prime minister Yitzhak Rabin who was murdered by an extreme right terrorist.
Rabin was shot to death by Yigal Amir after participating in a peace rally in Tel Aviv on November 4, 1995.
Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not participate in the official ceremony, citing protocol he said did not demand his presence.
