The Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment at the Be'er Sheva District Court against Roy Mizrahi and Almog Atias, both 25 from Nesher, for conducting 'intelligence missions' for operatives working on behalf of Iranian intelligence agencies. According to the indictment, Mizrahi communicated with Iranian operatives via Telegram and received tasks including gathering information about civilian infrastructure, documenting sensitive locations, and installing surveillance cameras in several areas across the country. Subsequently, Mizrahi approached Atias and proposed installing a camera near Defense Minister Israel Katz's residence, and the two purchased equipment for this purpose, though ultimately Mizrahi installed it in the south.
