Police arrested a minor suspected of throwing stones at officers who were working to erase graffiti of Palestinian flags and remove flags hung in Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood. During the operation by police and municipal inspectors, a handful of rioters threw stones and objects at them, prompting officers to use crowd dispersal measures. As forces were leaving, officers identified the minor throwing stones at them and arrested him. Shortly afterward, near the location where forces had operated, rioters gathered around a female police officer and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
