The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Zakr Abu Karim, a terrorist who was among the leaders of the raid on Kibbutz Kissufim during the October 7 massacre. Abu Karim, commander of Hamas' Nukhba force cell, promoted and executed terrorist operations throughout the war against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. The IDF spokesperson said that "recently he violated the ceasefire agreement and kept numerous weapons in his home, while attempting to rehabilitate the organization and conduct terrorist training exercises in order to advance additional terrorist operations." Along with Abu Karim, another terrorist was eliminated, who served as a liaison operative in Hamas.
