More than 100 people were killed in a terror attack that occurred in northern Burkina Faso on Sunday, which has only now been reported. The attack took place in several locations, including a military base and the city of Djibo. According to a local aid worker's testimony, most of the casualties were soldiers. A jihadist group affiliated with al-Qaeda called JNIM, which operates in the Sahel region crossing the African nation, claimed responsibility for the attack.
