The Defense Ministry reported that within 24 hours, two ships and several cargo planes carrying thousands of air and ground munitions and military equipment totaling 6,500 tons arrived in Israel. The munitions and equipment were transferred as part of a logistical operation led by the Defense Ministry's procurement delegation in the United States, the International Defense Transportation Authority unit in the Defense Procurement Administration and the IDF Planning Division. The ships docked at Ashdod Port and Haifa Port, from where the equipment was transferred to IDF bases.
