US: Two synagogues broken into in New York; woman arrested, search for second suspect

Monticello, New York police arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of breaking into two synagogues in the city. The suspect, Adelis Rodriguez Valentin, was arrested around 2 a.m. (local time) after being caught on security cameras entering a building in the Pine Knoll bungalow colony along with another individual. The two ignored police orders to stop and fled, but Rodriguez Valentin was apprehended. In addition, she was charged with a break-in that occurred Tuesday at another synagogue in Monticello, based on security camera footage. The suspect was released without bail in accordance with New York State laws, and police continue searching for the second suspect.
