Snooker: 22-year-old Wu Yize wins World Championship

Chinese snooker player Wu Yize, 22, won the World Championship tonight after defeating Shaun Murphy 18-17 in the Sheffield final. This is the first final since 2002 to be decided in the 35th and final frame. Wu is the youngest player in 36 years to be crowned world champion and the second consecutive champion from China. He will receive a prize of half a million pounds and move up to fourth place in the world rankings.
