Due to a fire near the railway tracks in the Be'er Ya'akov area, train service has been temporarily suspended between the Lod, Rehovot and Ashkelon stations and between the Lod and Rishon LeZion HaRishonim stations. Israel Railways announced this and noted that "there are delays and changes in train service at the Ashkelon, Ashdod Ad Halom Metrapol, Yavne East, Be'er Ya'akov, Lod and Rishon LeZion HaRishonim stations."
