New York Times: 'Israel pushed out of talks, gets updates through foreign countries'

|
Israeli security officials told The New York Times that Israel has been pushed aside "completely" by the Trump administration, to the point that its leaders are barely involved in the ceasefire talks between the United States and Iran. "In the absence of information from their closest allies, the Israelis have been forced to learn what they can about the contacts between Washington and Tehran through their connections with leaders and diplomats in the region," the liberal newspaper reported in an article co-authored by Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth journalist Ronen Bergman. According to the report, Israel is also using its surveillance capabilities within the Iranian regime to stay updated on details.
