The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment in the Tel Aviv District Court against an Indian citizen who attacked a 9-year-old girl in a Tel Aviv parking lot. According to the indictment, the accused followed the girl as she walked on the street in the evening and when she entered the parking lot, he attacked her, knocked her to the ground, covered her mouth, choked her and forcibly committed an indecent act by inserting his thumb into her mouth and scratching her upper lip. The girl struggled against the accused and kicked him until she managed to escape and sought help from people present at the scene. The indictment charges the accused with committing an indecent act on a minor under the age of 16 while causing injury. The prosecution has requested that the court order his detention until the end of legal proceedings.
