The National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE) announced a change to the psychometric exam, whereby starting from the winter session in December 2026, the English section will be separated into a standalone test administered digitally. "The change will allow each academic institution to decide whether to include the English score in calculating the overall admission score (composite score) or to use it only for placement in English language courses," the institute said.
