Iranian media reported that Amir Habibollah Sayari has been appointed as the temporary commander of the Iranian forces and Ahmad Vahidi has been appointed as the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, also on a temporary basis. This follows the elimination of Iran's military chief and the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in attacks.
