Liberman on his proposal to apply sovereignty to Maale Adumim: 'Broad consensus preferable'

|
Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Liberman explained his bill to apply sovereignty to Maale Adumim, saying that "it is preferable to go for a broad national consensus." He called on coalition members to vote in favor of the bill and claimed that from conversations with coalition MKs, "there is pressure from the Prime Minister's direction." The Knesset will hold two separate votes, on Liberman's bill and on the parallel proposal by Noam Chairman Avi Maoz to apply sovereignty to all of Judea and Samaria.
