Attorney suspected of attempting to smuggle messages to security prisoner

The Israel Prison Service spokesperson reported that, during a security check at the entrance to a central Israel prison, documents suspected to be message papers were found on an attorney who arrived to visit a security prisoner. The visit was canceled, the attorney was detained by police, and proceedings were initiated to prevent his entry to Prison Service facilities. Since the start of the war, 52 proceedings have been opened against attorneys who attempted to pass messages to security prisoners.
