Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the release of proof of life from hostages Alon Ohel and Guy Gilboa Dalal at the beginning of the cabinet meeting. Netanyahu said: "Hamas published a cruel and despicable video of Alon Ohel and Guy Gilboa Dalal. I spoke at length with their families on Friday and strengthened them in my name and in the name of the entire nation. I must also say that most of the nation stands firm against this psychological terror."
He added that "the IDF is already deepening its maneuver inside Gaza City: We are eliminating terror infrastructure, incriminated terror towers and we have established another humanitarian area to allow the civilian population in Gaza to leave to a safe place and also receive humanitarian aid there." According to him, meanwhile about 100,000 people have left Gaza.
