400 people have been killed in road accidents in Israel since the beginning of 2025. This is according to data from the National Road Safety Authority, which was updated this morning during Road Safety Week. 28% of the fatalities are pedestrians and 21% are motorcycle and electric bicycle riders, which indicates that pedestrians and two-wheeler riders continue to be the main risk groups on roads in 2025 as well. For comparison, by the same date last year, 378 people were killed in road accidents in Israel.
