Police arrested two ultra-Orthodox men during riots in Jerusalem, in which dozens blocked roads in the area of Shabbat Square in the city. After setting fire to one of the roads, the ultra-Orthodox protesters at the scene were documented confronting police officers and throwing objects at them. Police said in a statement: "Violent rioters began blocking traffic routes while attempting to damage vehicles and public order. Jerusalem District police officers, Border Police fighters and Yasam forces evacuated the rioters using force and means including crowd dispersal grenades and stun grenades, in order to extract vehicles, open the road to traffic and restore public order at the scene."
