Military Intelligence Chief Major General Shlomi Binder addressed the strikes on Iran, saying: "As you know, we are embarking on a campaign that is no less than existential, against an enemy that seeks to destroy us, develop nuclear capabilities, advancing rapidly in developing its nuclear capabilities, develop conventional weapon capabilities in very very large quantities – this is what we want to diminish, disrupt and remove this threat." Major General Binder added that "the Intelligence Division worked very hard to provide the warning about advancement in the nuclear program and the Intelligence Division is also ready for this mission and on high alert."
