Western powers to Iran: 'Do not attack Israel'

The United States, France, Germany and Great Britain have warned Iran in recent days against a revenge attack on Israeli territory. The White House issued another statement of support Thursday evening, clarifying that "the support that the U.S. provides to Israel against threats from Iran and its proxies remains the same. We do not want the fighting to spread." In addition, the foreign ministers of Germany and Britain spoke with their Iranian counterparts and demanded that Tehran refrain from attacking Israel and escalating the situation. Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said: "We warned Iran not to attack Israel." (Itamar Eichner and Moran Azulay)
