Danny Miran, father of Omri who is held hostage in Gaza, expressed concern regarding the progress of hostage deal negotiations. In an interview with the ynet studio, he said: "I am not optimistic, but rather very anxious. Hamas added many 'buts,' so I don't understand why there need to be conditions with 'buts'?" Additionally, Miran commented on the meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump: "The day Trump receives the Nobel Prize, it will be as if someone from our own people really received the prize. He deserves it more than any other person."
