The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said on Saturday it has launched Operation Swords of Iron on Saturday following Hamas' combined attack against Israel.
"The IDF is initiating a large-scale operation to defend Israeli civilians against the combined attack launched against Israel by Hamas this morning," the military wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
