Republican senators say Biden delaying shipments of bunker-buster bombs, helicopters, D9s

Republican Senators Tom Cotton and Mitch McConnell claim that the Biden administration is delaying the transfer to Israel of bunker-buster bombs that are used to attack Hamas and Hezbollah tunnels, as well as Apache helicopters and D9 bulldozers. In the letter they sent to Biden, they said they "strongly condemn the ongoing delay" on the part of the Biden administration in supplying critical military equipment and weapons to Israel, "in the midst of an existential war." They added: "Delays in equipment that Israel requires to win its multi-front war against Iran's terrorist proxies, plus statements by senior administration officials accusing Israel of escalation, undermine Israel's efforts to restore deterrence by encouraging Iranian-backed terrorists." The senators wrote that:"Further delays will endanger Israeli lives, increase the likelihood that the conflict will escalate further and harm US national security interests. A long time ago, Israel should have been given the means it needs to win."
