Hezbollah continues rocket fire on northern Israel after earlier Iranian missile strikes

Sirens sound across Galilee, Haifa and surrounding areas as barrages persist into the night; no injuries reported so far

Hezbollah Rocket fire from Lebanon continued to target northern Israel late Friday, with sirens sounding repeatedly across the Galilee, Haifa and surrounding areas, hours after earlier missile attacks from Iran struck the region.
Air raid alerts were activated in multiple waves throughout the evening, beginning in the Upper Galilee, including Avivim and Yir’on, and later expanding to broader areas such as the Krayot, Haifa and nearby communities. Additional sirens were reported in parts of the Galilee and the Jezreel Valley as launches persisted.

The Home Front Command issued several updates during the night, at times instructing residents to remain in protected spaces before later announcing it was safe to leave shelters in areas including the Galilee and Haifa region once immediate threats had passed.
Emergency services said there were no immediate reports of casualties linked to the latest rocket fire. Some projectiles were intercepted, while others landed in open areas.

The continued barrages followed earlier attacks in which rockets from Lebanon and missiles from Iran struck northern Israel, causing damage in multiple locations, including a direct hit in a parking lot in Nahariya and a strike on a building in nearby Gesher HaZiv.
The Israel Defense Forces said it had launched strikes on terrorist infrastructure in Beirut, alongside a broader wave of attacks in Tehran, as fighting escalates on multiple fronts.
Meanwhile, the United Nations peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon reported that three of its soldiers were wounded in an explosion near al-Adissa, with two in serious condition. The cause of the blast remains unclear.
The sustained rocket fire and repeated sirens underscore the widening scope of the conflict, as northern communities remain on high alert.
