Public security minister Omer Bar-Lev made a statement in response to the events that ensued on Sunday morning in Jerusalem: "We see as severe the public order disturbances, the throwing stones on buses in Jerusalem and injuring of passengers.
"The police will inflict harsh consequences against anyone who dares to carry out terror towards Israeli citizens, and I back the police men and women in their devoted actions."
The minister added that "its important to continue and allow the freedom of worship, but we won't settle when there's violence and terror."
