The IDF spokesperson said that two soldiers were moderately wounded and six others lightly wounded after an explosive drone struck the area where they were operating in southern Lebanon. It was also stated that the soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and that their families have been notified.

Emergency alerts were activated in multiple communities near the Lebanese border, including Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas, as residents were instructed to remain in protected spaces during repeated rocket and drone warnings.
A direct strike hit a residential building in Nahariya, causing significant damage and lightly injuring a woman in her 60s, according to Israel’s emergency medical service. Another person was treated for anxiety at the scene. Fire and rescue officials said there was concern over a possible gas leak following the impact, though no one was trapped inside the building.
At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces said its large-scale strike in Lebanon last week, code-named “Eternal Darkness,” killed more than 250 Hezbollah operatives, including senior commanders.
Among those killed, the military said, was Hassan Mustafa Nasser, a senior logistics commander responsible for weapons smuggling and storage in Lebanon and a key figure in the group’s reconstruction efforts.
The IDF also said several senior intelligence commanders were killed, including individuals involved in building target banks against Israel and collecting intelligence data. A senior missile unit deputy commander was also reportedly killed, according to the military.
An Israeli intelligence official said the operation struck dozens of command sites within a very short time span, describing the attack as a significant blow to Hezbollah’s operational capabilities.
“Within a single minute, we hit dozens of command headquarters and eliminated hundreds of operatives,” the official said. “This is a strategic and broad impact across all dimensions of the organization’s capabilities.”
The official added that assessments of the full impact are still ongoing and that additional fatalities among Hezbollah operatives continue to be identified.
Meanwhile, sirens and intercept alerts continued across Israel’s north throughout the day, with the military warning residents of potential drone infiltration attempts and additional rocket fire from Lebanon.
