White House National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes on Sunday expressed support for Israel’s decision to suspend humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"Israel has negotiated in good faith since the beginning of this administration to secure the release of hostages. Given that Hamas has declared it no longer seeks a cease-fire, we will support Israel’s decisions regarding its next steps," Hughes said.
