An Israeli airstrike overnight killed a senior Hezbollah operative in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said Thursday.
According to an IDF statement, an Israeli Air Force drone targeted and killed Ahmad Adnan Bajaja, a commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, in the town of Jija. The IDF said Bajaja had “planned and carried out numerous terror operations during the fighting, targeting Israeli civilians and IDF forces.”
Lebanese media reported earlier that a drone strike had hit a vehicle in the town of Maaroub, in southern Lebanon’s Tyre District.
