The only alternative left for Israel is to eliminate the rest of Hamas’s infrastructure and leaders in order to create a new situation on the ground, according to Brig. Gen. (Res.) Danny Van Buren, former chief reserve officer of the IDF.
He told ILTV that the main logic of the ground operation is to live peacefully without being threatened by Hamas.
