The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany published a statement, which said that "Berlin rejects all considerations regarding possible Israeli settlement of Gaza, and regarding any form of relocation of the Palestinian population." This follows the right-wing conference that called for Israeli settlement of the Gaza Strip.
