Israel allegedly attacked regime forces in southern Syria, near the border with Israel, according to Syrian reports early Monday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said an Israeli warplane targeted President Bashar Assad's regime and his allies, hitting missile batteries in the city of al-Ba'ath and the village of al-Krum in the Quneitra governate.
The area borders the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.
