The victim of Monday’s car-ramming and stabbing attack in Ra'anana was identified as 79-year-old city resident Edna Blustein. Ra'anana Mayor Chaim Broyde said, "We share in the family's sorrow over her murder and wish the injured a rapid recovery."
Given that the apprehended attackers were illegal residents working at a local car wash, the mayor has called on employers to "carefully verify each worker and the authenticity of their identification documents." (Raanan Ben-Zur, Eitan Glikman)
