Security officials reported Wednesday that a security incident in northern Israel’s Megiddo Junction, in which an explosive device was detonated and injured a 21-year-old man severely, was caused by a Terrorist who infiltrated Israel from Lebanon.
According to the report, the terrorist entered Israel, set up the explosive device on the road, and began feeling back to Lebanon before being neutralized by security forces.
The report added that the terrorist had an accomplice who drove him from the border, who was also apprehended by the forces and taken for questioning. The terrorist’s motives and identity are still being investigated.
