Following the arson at former Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef's synagogue, Shas chairman MK Rabbi Aryeh Deri has instructed to 'immediately assign' a private security company to guard his home. According to Deri, this will continue 'until security arrangements are completed by security forces and investigation findings are clarified.' Deri reported that he spoke with Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, who informed him that the Shin Bet is treating the incident with the highest level of severity, as a nationalist terror attack.
