Dutch Geert Wilders scraps plan to appoint Israeli as minister

Geert Wilders head of the Dutch Freedom Party on Thursday, scrapped plans to appoint a former Israeli as Minister for immigration after local security agencies said he had ties to Mossad. Israeli-born Gideon (Gidi) Markuszower was named for the position on Wednesday.
