Organizers of the Tel Aviv protests against the judicial reform, including former IDF chief-of-staff Moshe Ya'alon and Dr. Shikma Schwartzman-Bressler, have rejected President Herzog's plea to sit down with coalition leaders to discuss the reform, saying that "his efforts are doomed to fail due to a government hell bent on transforming Israel into a dictatorship. As long as they continue with this course of action, we will keep fighting to maintain the identity of the state of Israel as Jewish and Democratic. Thursday will be a day of resistance and on Saturday massive protest will take place all over the country."
